unsaturated chondroitin disaccharide hydrolase EC#: 3.2.1.180; ChemWhat Code: 1380101

Product Name unsaturated chondroitin disaccharide hydrolase
Example Structure Example Structure of unsaturated chondroitin disaccharide hydrolase EC#: 3.2.1.180
Synonyms Phep_2238, Phep_2649, Phep_2830, SagUGL, SpnUGL, SpyUGL, UGL, unsaturated glucuronyl hydrolase
EC Number 3.2.1.180
CAS Registry Number
Comments The enzyme releases 4-deoxy-4,5-didehydro?D-glucuronic acid or 4-deoxy-4,5-didehydro?L-iduronic acid from chondroitin disaccharides, hyaluronan disaccharides and heparin disaccharides and cleaves both glycosidic (1¡ú3) and (1¡ú4) bonds. It prefers the sulfated disaccharides to the unsulfated disaccharides.
